THE INTERNSHIP 2011
The 2010 internship program was held over a 16 week period and excelled seven interns through the process of discovering their professional purpose and how to best achieve their goals. This program was built from the identified needs of the participants and included the execution of a personal project, a collaborative project and the development of work on behalf of clients. The model for this program is currently under review and we look forward to introducing the next curriculum in early 2011.
To express your interest either as a program partner or a potential participant, contact us and we'll be in touch.

CAMP JM
Creatives, entrepreneurs, designers and social innovators are invited to join the Josephmark team as we endeavour to identify, develop and deliver a product of social innovation in under a week.
Camp JM offers socially-conscious, change-the-world types to use their talents to create positive change based on a a social change issue identified by a non-profit client. We respect the values behind long term processes for social innovation, while using the melting pot of creativity ignited in a sprint environment to create a useful tool for social change.
Held in an environment that enhances creativity and ensures this experience is not limited to "all work and no play", the playful nature of the camp ensures the creation of valuable work.

SXSW 2011
Following the 2010 adventures of a number of Aussie SXSW delegates, the School of Big Thinking is organising an international excursion to SXSW 2011.
SXSW is an amazing conference where digital and change-the-world kids play (Interactive 11-15 March) and stay for the best of music adventures (Music 16-20 March).
The 13,000 strong crowd can be an intimidating undertaking if you’re new to the SXSW scene. You can’t possibly catch every panel discussion, digerati keynote session or tech karaoke showdown but with the School of Big Thinking excursion the Aussies won’t miss much in Austin.
While you will have to organise you’re own journey to the event, we’ll be facilitating a rough Aussies in Austin mudmap and answering any questions you may have if you’ve never done SXSW before. And with this support crew hopefully you’ll be sure to stay clear of catching SXSW scurvy (note: not an actual disease).
So if you intend to find a buddy to share a Texas BBQ with in 2011, join us for the School of Big Thinking International Excursion. Please join the Facebook event and register for SXSW at http://sxsw.com/attend.

NEW KNOWLEGDE
Drawn from the endless supply of information available on the internet, we curate a program of content and host this event to create conversation around all things Big Thinking.
From documentaries on the migration patterns of birds, to obscure how-to videos we've plucked from the depths of YouTube to the latest in TED videos, we endeavour to collect a range of material to stimulate conversation in places you never thought possible.
This event is about bringing together like minds and creating a shared experience with material for ongoing discussion. Held as an event in various locations, the playlist is then made available online for others to participate.
If you are interested in being involved either as an attendee or as an organiser, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
